Questions and answers
Do we need to download an app?
No. Everything runs in the phone’s browser – just scan the QR code or enter the PIN. For full screen, you can add the hunt to your home screen.
What if the GPS doesn’t work?
Then the phone asks about something you can only see at the stop instead – e.g. a year above a door. If the stop has no such question, the team can tap "We are here". The organiser can see which stops were opened without GPS.
How many can take part?
Up to 200 players in one hunt. We split you into teams of 3–4, or you can play as one shared team.
What age is it for?
From about 3 years old with an adult. For the little ones, hints can be shown straight away and they can get one letter at a time.
How long does it take?
From half an hour to a couple of hours – you choose the number of stops, usually 5–12.
Does it cost anything?
It is free to try. You don’t need an account – you get a secret link to run the hunt.
